We had been in England for two weeks. Many friends went back to their own countries. I was reluctant to leave as I like Stanborough. I met any friends here and before they left, I exchanged the e- mail addresses and MSN messengers with others. Today was Sabbath. The teachers brought us to the church in Newbold College. I wore a dress but I felt very embarrassed since the boys liked to laugh at me. After the church service, the marketing manager there gave us a pack of souvenirs and brought us to have a walk in the campus. With the help of Miss Grace and the teachers, we could enjoy a free meal in Newbold. The food there was delicious. After lunch, we went to the Windsor Castle. It was the first time I went there. I was so excited at first. However, when we arrived at the gate, a policeman with a gun stopped us, saying that the castle was closed. We were shocked since it was only 4 pm! Then we took some pictures and walk around the castle areas. After some time, the teachers allowed us to buy something for souvenirs saying that we have to keep the Sabbath. I bought many things, including body lotion, hand cream and biscuits. I was so happy! In the evening, we went to a Chinese restaurant to have dinner. The teachers had to search and search for a good restaurant. It was the first time I had Chinese food in these two weeks. It was so delicious! If the shop moved to the Stanborough, I thought the cafeteria there could not survive! After dinner, we rushed to ASDA again. I bought some chocolates. Today, I was very sad because there were a lot of friends leaving us. Although the Brazilian group would leave on Sunday, we still would be the last group to leave England. I will surely miss them. Today, with the help of our teachers, we had a chance to go to the Oxford University City. I was happy at the beginning. When we arrived at there, however, many colleges had closed already. We could only take some pictures and buy souvenirs. We visited the famous Alice Shop and two other souvenir shops, we bought a lot of souvenirs and we were happy. When we left the shop, we found that the shop immediately closed. It made me understand that the British way of doing business was very different from that in Hong Kong. They closed the shop on time! After visiting the Oxford University, we went back to the school to have dinner. As our teachers told us not to eat too much in Oxford, we just ate something and we were asked to wait in our rooms before dinner. When dinner time came, we found that it was very different from that in normal days. No one was in the dining room except us. When Mr. Chu and Miss Cheng came, they brought with them chicken, fried eggs, fish fillets, cup noodles and juice. They said that we were going to have a "cup noodle party". It was really funny! We were very happy and the food was delicious. I did not know that the teachers cooked very well. After the dinner, we washed dishes together. When I was washing the dishes, a cup dropped. Today, I was not very happy as there were four of us leave the school and went back to their countries. Jose, my Spanish roommate, Sara, a Spanish girl and two Korean girls were leaving at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively. Before he left, Jose gave me his school T-shirt for me to write some Chinese on it. It was so sad that they left. The lessons today were challenging. In English lesson, I read a book. In the ESL lesson, the teacher gave me some difficult exercises for us to do. I could not finish them. In the French lesson, I saw something which Jose and Sara left in the classroom, it made me sad. In the art lesson, I drew a monster. I was kept busy all the day. Luckily, in the recess, we were arranged to take a big group photo with Mr. Rivers and all teachers. We were so happy! In the evening, we went to the hall and had the final preparation for Project 4. We showed the powerpoints introducing the traditional food and holidays in England. In the end, Mr Chu and Miss Cheng showed us the pictures we took in these days, I could find myself in many photos. Today it was a day for outing. In the morning, we went to St. Albans. The cathedral there was very beautiful. A woman in the cathedral gave us a rough image on the history of the city and the cathedral. The cathedral was built in 250A.D. It was an old architect. While the woman was telling the story of St. Albans, she asked some of our classmates to act as the characters in the story. It was really funny. I was chosen to act the high priest of the church that time. I thought the clothes I wore were the most beautiful amongst all others. After visiting the cathedral, we went shopping in that little old town. The things there were expensive, so I did not buy anything. After window shopping for a while, we went to pizza hut to have a Pizza Party. Since there were some classmates who were about to leave us, the party also served as a Farewell Party. I ate a lot of pizza, salad and ice-cream. I felt very full after the party. We all had a lot of fun in the party. After dinner, we had the study time again. I wrote the diary quickly and gave it to the teacher. The teacher also marked it quickly. There are some mistakes in my diary, I should be more careful next time. This night, everyone went to sleep early, but there were still some noises. Can you guess what the noise is? It came from my roommate. It was the morning on 21st of March and we were still in the coach, heading back to Stanborough School. At 4am, we arrived at the school. We all felt very tired because we went to play in Paris Disneyland for a whole day! What a wonderful trip we had! When I finished bathing, I immediately went to bed. I woke up at 10am in the morning. After breakfast, we were going to have a video conference with Hong Kong at 11am. I had expected this moment for a long time since I was in England. When we saw image from Hong Kong, we were all excited and shouted full of joy. Finally, I had a chance to talk to my parents. I missed them so much that I forgot what I planned to speak to them. I really missed my family and friends in Hong Kong. After lunch, we went to the school. Since we were so tired, we could hardly pay attention to the teacher. When I finished the lessons in school, we went to the computer room to send e-mails to my family and friends. There were so many e-mails for me to send, so I forgot the time to got to worship. It takes a long time for us to go to France. Approximately, it took us more than ten hours. First we got on a coach, then ferry, then coach again. We had to sleep on the coach and ferry. I think I am lucky to have a chance to go to the Paris Disneyland and also have a step on Paris. Although we were all tired, we all got excited when we arrived at Paris Disneyland. The difference between Paris Disneyland and the one in Hong Kong is that Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller than that in Paris. Besides, I think the Paris Disneyland is more beautiful. We spent a whole day there and took a lot of pictures. I tried many games in the theme park, such as the "Space Mountain", "Indiana Jones", "It's a small world" and so on, they were all exciting. Finally, we bought some souvenirs, but things there, were extremely expensive. The weather in Paris is cold and wet. In the afternoon, it rained. After the whole day in the theme park, we were exhausted. In the evening, we left Paris Disneyland. We then had a fast coach trip in Paris. There are many ancient buildings in Paris. I think it is a nice place to live in. The view of Paris is so beautiful that it is not easy for me to describe. Though I heard that the city of Paris had some demonstrations, when I had a step on it, it was peaceful. Today, we got up at 9am according to the schedule of the school. We had a late breakfast and went to play a war game called “Quasar” near London. After instructions, we were divided into two groups. I had to cooperate with other students, teachers and Mr. Rivers, the Principal of Stanborough School, too! At first, I was scared. I just stood there and let people shoot me. After a long time, I started to return fire. Finally, I got 2,600 points. It was quite interesting. At 2:15 pm, our class had to see Miss Whitehall. She asked us some questions and opinions on my classes and my studies. I said I don't like Maths because it is too easy for us! After the meeting, we had some free time to rest. Agnes, Candy, Kelly and I talked a lot about our own school. At 5:30 pm, we all gathered in the hall to listen to the instructions on the Paris Disneyland Trip. After dinner, we all went to sleep. However, I was so excited to sleep, so I chatted and played with my friends here. At 11:00 pm, we left school and set off our journey to Paris. I was very excited.
